An idea I had this afternoon. My apologies if someone has already suggested it.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So how much is digital vdieo footage worth? I though it might be good if rather than trying to convince people that LARPs are interesting by describing one, how about you show video footage of a LARP in progress. Find the best example you can of a great LARP game, set up a tripod and video camera and film it. Select the best footage and host it on the net. This will give people an idea of what they can expect from a good MET session.

Could be interesting...
I wonder...
Maybe I can get a video recorder to tape the MoMET LARP. That would be cool.
And before then, maybe I can find the video of Hal being thrown through a table even though it really doesn't showcase want MET normally is, it sure is an amusing piece.

I had a similar idea that I brought up to my ST here in Toronto... only my idea involved the "news" for the city... film a short piece that can be played on a laptop {or downloaded if necessary} involving the news stories for that month...

I think I still have that on my old computer... *LOL* that was definately an amusing piece... but probably not good for what the OP had in mind... that whole no-touching rule getting in the way...
I'll ask Gary {the ST down here} if it'll be cool to film the next game...
