Online character sheets

At one point I was testing a system to integrate Grapevine with phpBB forums/phpNuke. Worked rather well, if in need of a bit more fine tuning than I could give it. www.3eprofiler.net is an online character sheet server for D&D. It's not a service, merely software at this point.
It would take some tweaking of the data structures and redoing the character sheet, but:
1) Is there a need for something like this?
2) For the techies, how plausible does this sound?

Grapevine is only for the old WOD right?
That's a problem for me. I'd like to use your stuff, but I'm working with the new WOD.

Huh? Please read my post again. I first stated my experience integrating Grapevine (which can, though clunkily, be used for WOD2) with web CMS. I then went on to explain that there is a modern package for 3.X D&D that with tweaking I think can work for WOD2.

I know being able to view char sheets online would be a huge boon for our local Garou LARP. The ST Staff uses Grapevine, but not everyone has it on their PC, or it is not updated between all the Staff as much as it should be.
Being able to simply view them online would allow quick reference that only one person would have to update (right?) and then all 5 Staff members could check it.
Cause we're lazy louts around here.
