Hey all. I know I've mentioned it before, but now it's finally becoming a reality. The link at the bottom is where you should click to be sold on it; the rest are my comments and thoughts.

Starting January 21, there will be a new Requiem LARP in Los Angeles, more specifically Long Beach. People are being drawn from all over L.A. though. It'll take place the third Saturday of each month (except for obvious holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas if they interfere).

It is being set in Victorian New Orleans, roughly between 1880 and 1890 (they are keeping it kinda non-specific though). Players are intended to be Kindred, but can play ghouls or mortals with a compelling backstory. The city is primarily run by the Invictus and the Lancea Sanctum, but the other three are present. The Unbound are very much looked down upon.

I'm a little unsure of two of the assistant storytellers; we have had player conflicts a-plenty in the past. But I'm encouraged by the comments of several of the other STs, narrators and the head ST. Plus I'm just excited to play Requiem.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, either living here or even on vacation and are jonesing for some Requiem, check it out. (seriously, if you are on vacation, you could guest play an NPC or something) The following address is where the forum is, the chargen guidelines and such. The boards seem to be for the players and admins, so if you aren't going to play, going ahead and look, but don't touch.
