" We are the Forsaken, and heaven help anyone who draws down our fury."
The Urdaga on Shadownessence are a Member Team that any interested and devoted fan of Werewolf: the Forsaken can join. It is a badge representing your respect for the game and your willingness to join the Forsaken Ungin, assisting in making the best possible home for Werewolf: the Forsaken. Through the Ungin, an Urdaga can vote on what things a website for such a game line could have, being able to add their own ideas to the pot, and even have them acted upon, thereby gaining those Urdaga Renown. Proposing ideas isn't all a Urdaga can do, however. They will also be able to vote on someone else's proposals, contribute to Shadownessence and gain Renown, participate in Urdaga-only games, contests and events, and ultimately be a part of the revolution that's sure to make the best Forsaken home the Internet has ever seen.
The Urdaga are the front line of Werewolf: the Forsaken on Shadownessence. Through their work and feedback, Shadownessence can help people who're interested in but are unsure about the Uratha. This is essential because by having a greater Forsaken presence on the site, we can make the games more popular. The more popular a game is, the longer Shadownessence can keep it alive. So why would someone want to become an Urdaga? Being part of building an entire site related to the game they love is quite an allure for many people. Add to that the Urdaga will be able to hang with other like-minded people in the Ungin and be pioneers for the game they love--be it through the information they contribute and receive Renown for, or simply by being able to show people that Forsaken games are great--a grand atmosphere blossoms; a bit of myth is created. Shadownessence recognizes the work of the Urdaga, and we show our appreciation of these people by providing them with the Ungin, a place where they can work to bring about a better role-playing experience-–both for themselves and others. In addition, wherever the Urdaga go on Shadownessence, they will be recognized for their dedication by their badges and Rank.
All Urdaga begin as a 'Cub'. They will receive an Urdaga badge under their name and a signature banner that displays their Rank. As an Urdaga spends more time on Shadownessence and contributes to the site where he/she can, he/she can receive Renown and will be considered for his/her first Rite of Passage, where she will become a 'Hunter'. This will be the first in a series of Rites of Passage for the Urdaga as his/her Renown and time spent on the site grow.
Application to the Urdaga
Any user who has been a member of Shadownessence for at least 1 month and made a minimum of 25 posts may apply to the Urdraga to be considered as an Aspirant by simply declaring their intent within this topic. Prospective Aspirants will be recognized once, at the beginning of each month, by the Vilicus, Praefecti, or Urdraga Elders and have until the end of the month to perform Deeds worthy enough to accumulate 3 Renown. Should they fail in this they must reaffirm their intent in the next month and may continue their quest for Renown without losing any that they may have acquired.
An Aspirant who has acquired the necessary Renown and who is not found lacking by the majority of the Urdraga must create a Signature Character using the guidelines found below. Once that is done the Aspirant will undergo the Rite of Initiation, swearing the Oaths of Luna and taking any appropriate Tribal Vows. Only then are they considered a Cub among the Urdraga.

Signature Characters
Creation Guidelines
As an Urdaga, you will need a Signature Character. This character will be your "spokesperson" during Rites or other Urdraga events and also may be used in various contests. It's most important for you to consider your character's personality and make it one that you would be proud to have represent you.
At a minimum your Signature Character should be comprised of the following:
Name (Common/Human or Deed)
Physical Description (Sex, Age, Height, Weight, Build, Eye Color, Hair Color, etc...)
Personality (Likes, Dislikes, Hopes, Fears, Temperament, etc...)
Auspice
Tribe
Renown
Though it is listed last, Renown is most important as your Signature Character represents your voice and actions as an Urdraga. Your Signature Character will never have any Renown that you yourself did not earn, so consider that when selecting your Auspice and Tribe. It is possible to remain a Ghost Wolf or even Wolf-Blooded until such a time as you can earn the necessary Renown for your desired Auspice or Tribe.
It would also be good to consider the circumstances of your Uratha's First Change and describe it in some detail.
If you wish, you may go further with your Signature Character and create a fully functional character per the standard Werewolf: the Forsaken rules. The Renown limitations mentioned above still apply in this case and the same considerations should be taken.
To delve even deeper into your Signature Character, consider some of the following:
* What is this character's major goal?
* Why is this goal so important to this character?
* Are there any events in the character's past that affect the significance of this goal?
* We are all greatly influenced by our relationship with our parents. How was this character's relationship with his/her parents?
* What kind of people were the parents?
* Did they have any odd beliefs/habits that your character has adopted or is rebelling from?
* What are your character's vices?
* What are your character's pet peeves?
* What is your character's typical daily schedule like?
* What is your character's strong point?
* What is your character's middle name? How does he/she feel about it?
* What about a nickname? Does your character want to be called Ray, or Raymond D. Abernathy the Second?
* Is your character right or left-handed?
* Does your character wear glasses, or contact lenses?
* What about weight? Shoe size? Clothing size?
* What is your character's favorite color? Favorite song?
* What does your character think is his/her best feature? Worst feature?
* Is your character's handwriting neat and precise, or sloppy and unintelligible? Does your character care?
* What kind of car does your character drive? Is it neat and usually washed, or cluttered and "lived-in"?
* Does your character have a collection of anything?
* What is your character's attitude toward money? Is your character a bit of a spendthrift, or prone to spend freely?
* What are your character's hobbies?
* What are your character's talents? Do his/her friends routinely call him/her when they need help in a certain area?
* What is your character most proud of? Most embarrassed about?
* Does your character donate to any charities? Play the stock market? Gamble? Pay child support or alimony?
* Who are your character's heroes?
If you need any help during your application process or in creating your Signature Character, feel free to contact the Forsaken Vilicus, Praefecti, or any of the Urdraga for assistance.
