What do you do for Changeling Halloween?

The Hallow'een games nearly always center around the season itself (and you can only run just so many Samhain revels) but thats what I'll be doing this year on or near the day itself. I figured something to do with the birds sent out for the ritual of the Eidolon not answering or returning might be interesting. A story where they actually have to go find one of the Black Paths of Balor and follow it to the Shadowland's somehow. Like most things, I'll wing it on the night probably

And I would love to her from others, as well, that they at least plan to slip out and raid the local playground. I've found that to be an excellent night-time activity! You have aaaall the toys all by yourself.

On top of that I'll also be gearing up for my ears bleeding after a night at the city hall with the pounding Japanese drummers of the Mugyenko troop for my second night of Asian decadence, the sequel to last month's rare treat of Imperial Court music.
I kind of missed out on scheming anything for Halloween but I can always scare the hell out of fools daring to knock upon the door, should I hear them of course.

But if I can get through the Banal hell known as pre-algebra it'll be worth it.
Wish me luck.
^Same. Except an economics paper. FUN.
I've never had a Changeling Halloween. I'll just live vicariously through all of you and your fun!
... except you, Saint Michael. I don't like math.
(I threw a weird "hippie witch" costume together last minute for the office tomorrow. That's about it~)

How about closing at work AND opening the next day? >___< (This is the barista job, which makes it double-worse.)
Maybe I should just call out sick... actually, probably I'll just hop in my car at 10:15 when I'm done, drive like mad to the city, throw on some costume in the car, and enjoy the three hours I've got before things close, then come home and nap until the Samhain Mists come to clear it all away. Sounds like a plan, yeh?

Probably, yes... it's one of my favorite days of the year, after all. Hell, maybe I should just go to work in costume... well, ok, no, they'd probably fire me. But still! It'd be nice.
I've been dressed as an eclectic fae five times in the past few weeks. Might as well go for six!

Give yourself over to absolute pleasure. Swim the warm waters of sins of the flesh - erotic nightmares beyond any measure, and sensual daydreams to treasure forever. Can't you just see it? Don't dream it, be it.

Well, I followed the ineffable Dr. Furter's advice and went out last night anyway. Not only that, but I eschewed my fairly conservative fae garb for an angel outfit that was... well, revealing, let's say. There were a number of individuals at the clubs I went to that tried to get fresh, but I rebuffed them with my mighty wits. And then I got 3 hours of Misty sleep in time for work this morning. Hurrah for Samhain night!
(Somehow my Samhains always end up like Beltaines...)

Howeeever, we had to get up at seven in the morning Thursday, to get our rental car and go up to the Highlands, so there was far less reveling than I had hoped and wished for. But, Saturday we did our fare share, so I suppose that counts in.
Great to hear about you, Alec, that was a good choice! Will there be tales from this adventure, and pictures? ^-^ We absolutely must have the gossip.
With his wings, faun got some interesting comments, but the best detail was, I think, all the oh so straight guys coming up photographing him and saying shyly how cool he was.
Okay. So the leather kilt might have helped. But still. He DID look awesome. And it's always nice to see some variation on appreciation, other than just standard drooling from the opposite sex.

It's probably for the best that I don't have any pictures. (Although, one tale from the evening is that someone else, who I don't know, and who I will probably never see again, does in fact have some pictures...) But the tales of the evening are many and varied. For example, the adorable man who works down the other end of the shops was at one of the clubs, and very drunkenly informed me, "Every time I come to get coffee from you now I'm going to see you like this!" To which I responded, in my head, "Every time you come to get coffee from me now I'm going to think about how you're grabbing me in inappropriate places..."
And that, madam, is typical of the night.
So now, do you have photos of that?
