Ok, all I can say is, "OMG, I'm Harpy!"

I am playing in a classic WoD V:tM LARP - just because it was gonna be fun.

Now, I've ended up as Harpy - and I don't know what to do.

I know this can be a great deal of fun, but I don't know where/how to begin.

As a player, I'm not familiar with Status and Prestation.

Any advise? Where can I go for sources?

I have the LAWS OF THE NIGHT, Revised - but cannot put my hands on the GUIDE TO THE CAMARILLA.

Help?

Well, you obviously got your hands on the least useful book of the two.

Anyway, you're going to play the vampire equivalent of the cool kids clique from high school. These are the cheerleaders and jocks who decide who is in and who is out. The tricky part is making the other players of your game believe you are this person too. Good luck!

Playing Harpy can be an unbelievable amount of fun. The trick, as Shadownite has said, is to make people believe that you are the epitome of status, popularity and grace, whether you are or not. The Harpy has a considerable amount of power, and if you play it right, everybody knows it. Status and Boons are the penultimate in Camarilla currency, and YOU control the trade. Obviously, if you abuse this power, you'll be foisted out, but if you walk the line, it will be fabulous.
