Feeding vampires and resistant damage is it or not

No... because their feeding damage is not magical in nature and about blood loss rather than pattern damage to the Mage's very fabric of their being.... Thus use of pattern resoration/ life magics/time etc could heal this damage as it returns the mage to as he should be.

I think resistant damage is partially and out-of-game mechanic. If Mages with Life could heal their own sounds they inflict upon themselves for Mana, they would have unlimited mana.
To prevent this, they added in resistant damage.
While it may happen in other circumstances, I think it is really mostly limited to the cases where resistant damage avoids cheesiness.
My two cents.

I completely agree with this because could you imagine the sheer cheese that would happen if a mage could heal backlash? Havoc would have no meaning and mages would just go vulgar 24/7, all the while laughing maniacally at friend and foe.
That would be a fun rote for Sarah...

It would definetly take away from the feel of the game... but the laughing manically at friend and foe aspect intrigues me. Heh.
In my defense, if you knew the people I used to play with, you'd encourage it in the hopes they'd end up Kentucky-Fried Leeches.
